Candidate Search

This window gives user the power of searching through the whole collection of candidate accounts created on the Eazy Eval Environment. A lot of criteria are provided based on which the user can narrow the spectrum from which the candidate account can be found.

The various filtering options provided in this window are explained below.

The Candidate Profile Search Screen

The four checkboxes "Look in Name", "Look in Address", "Look in Phone Number" and "Case sensitive" controls the way in which the search operation is conducted. If "Look in Name" is selected during a search process, then the comparison is limited to the candidate name column of the database. The "Look in Address" will search for the user given string inside the Address column of the database. The "Look in Phone Number" will search phone number column of the database. If you want to make your searches case specific, i.e. if you want to check for exactness of what you have typed, then the "Case sensitive" checkbox can be selected. If multiple columns are to be searched at the same time then you can select any of the available combinations of these four selection markers.

You can also make use of the 6 filters given the checkboxes for refining your search results. The "Group" filter will help you to limit your searches on a specific Candidate group. Only those candidate groups into which a user has permission are listed here. The "Candidate Id" filter limits searches to a particular candidate account. The "Identifier" filter provides a way to weed out accounts based on the content provided inside the identifier column of a candidate. The "Status" filter will help in restricting searches based on Active/Inactive state of a candidate account. The "Religion" and "Gender" filters can also be used if such a need arise.

Once all the different criteria's are selected and a search string is typed in, you can use the "Search" button to start the search process. All results matching your specific search criteria are listed in a grid given at the bottom of the window.

Candidate Accounts can be Activated or Deactivated using the "Activate/Deactivate" button and the "Delete" button can be used for removing any Candidate from Eazy Eval. Double clicking on any of the Candidate information inside the grid will take you to the Candidate profile window loaded with information about the Candidate that you selected.
