Before conducting an examination using the Eazy Eval Environment, the examination should be configured and the "Exam Scheduler" window provides the user with this functionality. The steps involved in the scheduling of an examination are explained below.

The The Exam Scheduler Screen
Allow Navigation - If this option is selected, the candidate will have the permission of navigating between the questions while attempting an exam. i.e, the candidate can go back and forth between the questions and answer them according to his choice. Selecting this option will remove the restriction of attempting questions in a forward only order.
Allow Modification - If this option is selected, then the candidate is allowed to make changes to questions that are already answered. If this option is disabled then each question will get locked the moment the candidate answers them and they are not permitted to change the answers. So if you want to make your exams to have such a restriction, then don't select this option
Allow Skip - This option controls whether a candidate can navigate to the next question, without answering the current question. If this option is selected, then candidates can leave a question unanswered. If this option is selected, then the candidate is not allowed to navigate from a question without answering it.
Shuffle Questions - This option enables the shuffling of questions while displaying a question paper during an examination. Shuffling ensures that questions are displayed in a randomly picked order. If more than one candidate is attempting the same question paper at the same time, then shuffling can be used to make certain that the order in which the questions appear for each candidate are different.
Shuffle Options - This option can be used to randomize the order in which the options for each question are displayed. If this option is selected then each of the questions which support option shuffling will be presented with their options all arranged in a random order.
Negative Points - If you want to implement negative points to an exam then select this option.
The steps involved in implementing negative points in Eazy Eval environment are:
If you want to set individual amount of negative marks to each questions, then select the "Individual Marks" option. Now the required negative mark for each question has to be provided and for doing this please refer the section Implementing Individual Negative marks & Individual Question Time which is given at the end of this Topic.
Time Lock - If you need to implement a maximum answering time for each of the questions involved in an examination, then this feature can be used. In normal cases, Eazy Eval Environment places no restriction on the amount of time that can be spend on answering a question while attempting an examination. The time restriction is placed for the entire examination only. The Time Lock option implements restrictions on the amount of time that can be spend on individual questions, and these timings can be set in 2 different ways. The restriction can be the same amount of time for each question, or different answering time for each questions.
If you want to implement the same amount of answering time to all the questions in an examination, then select the "Same for All" option from the "Question Time" Panel and then type in a desired amount of answering time to be applied to each question.
If you want to set individual amount of answering time to each questions, then select the "Individual Time" option. Now the required answering time for each question has to be provided and for doing this please refer the section Implementing Individual Negative marks & Individual Question Time which is given at the end of this Topic.
Animated Assistant - The animated assistant provides the candidate with an audio response option while attempting an examination. In exams configured with Animated Assistant, the candidate is provided with options for listening to the questions and answers in an aural way.
Training Mode - This option when selected, will configure an examination as a training assessment. Exams configured in this mode can be attempted more than one time and options are provided in this mode the candidate to lookup the answer of a question during attempting the mock exam.
