This window provides an option for preparing question papers using the questions found in the various question domains.

The Question Paper Generator Mode Selection Screen
User is presented with a mode selection screen when this window is launched. This screen presents the user with 4 available modes in the Question Paper Generator. Selecting a mode will control the way in which the user builds a question paper. You can select any one of the modes using the 4 radio buttons provided at the top of the initial screen.
The four different modes of question paper generation are described below

The Question Paper Generator Manual Mode Selection Screen
In this mode, all the selections are made manually by the operator. The steps involved in creating a manual question paper are:

The Search Criteria Panel
This panel is packed full with options and filters for making complex search patterns. Use the "Select Domain" list box to select the needed domains from which you want to create the question paper. The domains listed here are based on the permissions that the current user has The "Select Question Type" box can be used to choose between different types of questions like, "True/False", "Yes/No" etc. The "Select Level" search tool will help you in limiting your search based on question difficulty and the "Points" tool will weed out questions based on the points.
If you want to load all the questions that contain any particular search string, then you can type the text at the text field provided. The text based search behavior can be controlled using the 4 check boxes provided under the search textbox.
The source of search can be selected using the "Search In" panel. The search can be conducted either on the questions residing inside the databank or inside the questions that have been already added to the question paper.
After selecting all the needed options, press the "Search" button to load all the questions that meet the search criteria, in the "Search Results" grid.

The Search Results Panel
If you want to remove a question from question paper, then select the question either from the "search results" grid or from the "question paper" grid and use the "Remove" button. To remove all the questions from the question paper use the "Remove All" button.

Question Paper Panel
The order in which questions are arranged in the question paper can be controlled using the two checkboxes named "Group By Domain" and "Group By Question Type" and by using the two arrow keys provided on the right side of the question paper grid.
The "Group By Domain" checkbox, when selected will arrange the questions based on the domain names. Questions belonging to each domain will be grouped together and you can utilize the arrow keys provided on the right side of the grid to manipulate the order of questions inside each domain group.
The "Group By Question Type" checkbox, when selected will arrange the questions based on the type of the questions like "Multiple Choice", "True/False" etc. Questions of each type will be grouped together and you can utilize the arrow keys provided on the right side of the grid to manipulate the order of questions inside each question type group.
In automatic mode, the user can specify all the needed criteria's plus the number of questions needed and the Eazy Eval System will generate a question paper randomly.

The Search Criteria Panel in Automatic Mode
The steps involved in creating an automated question paper are:

The Auto Generate Panel
When, the "Generate" button is pressed, the Eazy Eval System picks the required number of questions randomly from those that meet the criteria. For example, if there are 200 questions that are available of a specific criterion and the user requests for 25 questions, then Eazy Eval picks 25 questions from the available 200 on a random basis. This kind of generation can make question paper generation a breezy process.

The Question Paper panel in Automatic Mode
The only manipulation that the user can conduct on an automatically generated question paper is changing the order of questions. The order of the questions can be manipulated using the "Group By Domain" and "Group By Question Type" checkboxes and using the arrow keys provided on the right side of the question paper grid. You cannot remove questions from an automatically generated question paper.
This mode, equips the user with the benefits of both Manual and Automatic mode of question paper generation. Here the user can use manual method to find a group of questions to match specific search criteria and then he can use the automatic mode for picking up the needed number of questions from the group randomly.
All other operations in this mode are the same as in the above mentioned 2 modes.
Selecting the Edit Mode will list question papers into which the current user has access permission

The Question Paper Edit List
How Eazy Eval derives a positive permission into a Question Paper for any User
A positive permission for a user into a question paper is derived by the Eazy Eval system by analyzing the domains to which the questions included in the question paper belong. The process of permission and denial are explained by illustrating a scenario.
Ex: There are 3 domains D1, D2 and D3. Suppose that, for a user 'X', permission is granted into domains D1 and D3 and permission to D2 is denied. There are 3 question papers Q1, Q2 and Q3 built in such a way that question paper Q1 contains questions from domain D1 and D2, question paper Q2 contains questions from domain D3 and Question paper Q3 contains questions from domain D1, D2 and D3. In such a scenario, the Eazy Eval system will allow the user 'X', permission into question paper Q2 and will deny access for him into question papers Q1 and Q3, since they both contains questions from domains to which he has no access.
The user can select a question paper and press the button with the arrow icon or double click any one of the listed question papers to load them for editing. If the question paper you have selected is already involved in any examinations then, editing is not permitted, else you can make changes to the question paper and then store the changed copy back using the "Save" button. While at the edit mode, you can activate or deactivate a question paper using the "Activate/Deactivate" button. A Deactivated question paper will not be available in any future exam scheduling operations, but it won't affect any previously scheduled examinations. This feature can be used, if you want to temporarily remove a question paper from any exam scheduling operations.
The "Delete" button can be used to remove a question paper permanently from the Eazy Eval System. If the question paper that you are trying to delete is already involved in any examinations then the operation will result in a "Requested operation cannot be performed" message.
