The Question Bank Search Screen
The four checkboxes "Look in Question", "Look in Options", "Look in Reference" and "Case sensitive" controls the way in which the search operations are conducted. If "Look in Question" is selected during a search process, then a search is made for the search string inside the question column of the database. The "Look in Options" will include the options column while conducting the search. The "Look in Reference" includes the reference column of the database during searches. If you want to make your searches case specific the "Case sensitive" checkbox can be selected. If multiple columns are to be searched at the same time then you can select a combination of these four selection markers.
You can also make use of the 5 filters given the checkboxes for refining your search results. The "Domain" filter will help you to limit your searches on to specific question groups on which you have permission. The "Status" filter will help in filtering questions based on the Active/Inactive state of the questions. If you want to restrict the searches to specific types of questions then the "Type" filter can be used. The "Levels" filter helps you to find questions based on the difficulty level set by the question author. The "Points" filter provides a way to find questions that have specific maximum points.
Once all the different criteria's are selected and a search string is typed in, you can use the "Search" button to start the search process. All results matching your specific search criteria are listed in a grid given at the bottom of the window. Questions can be Activated or Deactivated using the "Activate/Deactivate" button and the "Delete" button can be used for removing any unwanted question from Eazy Eval. Double clicking on any of the question inside the grid will take you to the question bank window loaded with selected question.
